Eagle, Idaho, December 1, 2020 – Mark Daniels, a produce veteran with 35 years of industry experience, has joined the Idaho Potato Commission as Retail Promotion Director-Southeast.
Based in the Savannah, Georgia area, Daniels will provide category management, promotions and other marketing support tools to help category managers and buyers in the Southeast boost profitability in the rapidly evolving marketplace. He replaces Bill Savilonis, who has moved on after 28 years with IPC.

A survey conducted by the research firm Morning Consult found that 47% of families say they will cancel holiday get-togethers. Almost half say they will shift from in-person celebrations to virtual.

Ron Ambrose of Four Ace Farms in Wendell; Mark Darrington of Big D Farms in Declo and Eric Jemmett of J&S Farms in Parma will each serve a three-year term. Todd Cornelison of High Country Potatoes and Brett Jensen of Brett Jensen Farms were appointed Chairman and Vice Chairman, respectively.
