Sunday, November 6, 2005, Atlanta, GA - Denise Austin and Idaho Potato fans lined up for a chance to meet America's Favorite fitness expert on Sunday, November 6th, 2005, during PMA's fresh summit international convention and exposition.
As the Idaho Potato commission's national fitness and healthy lifestyle spokesperson, Austin "Worked the IPC booth" and the crowds during the opening day of the huge trade show in Atlanta.
Austin autographed photos of herself and posed for pictures with hundreds of visitors.
"Denise is truly a partner with us in our mission to remind the public to eat well and to build time into their busy lives to exercise," said Frank Muir, IPC CEO and president. "Denise's brand new book called 'Eat Carbs. Lose Weight' advocates what we've said all along - active people need carbs and the complex carbs in Idaho Potatoes supply the energy people need to fuel their lives."

Established in 1937, the Idaho Potato Commission (IPC) is a state agency that is responsible for promoting and protecting the famous "Grown in Idaho®" seal, a federally registered trademark that assures consumers they are purchasing genuine, top-quality Idaho® potatoes. Idaho's ideal growing conditions, including rich, volcanic soil, climate and irrigation differentiate Idaho® potatoes from potatoes grown in other states.
