At the annual Idaho Grower Shippers Association’s Industry Breakfast held in Sun Valley, ID, Commissioner R.J. Andrus was appointed Chairman of the Idaho Potato Commission (IPC) and Commissioner Jim Tiede was appointed Vice Chairman. Both Andrus and Tiede will serve one-year terms.
The Idaho Potato Commission (IPC) announces that it is an official sponsor of the Boise State University (BSU) and University of Idaho (UI) football teams. Beginning this season and for the next five seasons, Idaho's famous potatoes will be the "official team tater" and have a significant presence in both Bronco Stadium and Kibbie Dome. In addition, the IPC will also be the major sponsor of the much anticipated BSU vs. UI football game that is being played this year on November 12 at the Kibbie Dome.
