A husband and wife team, Nabol Paz and Maria Aponte develop creative healthy recipes and explore
the benefits of a green lifestyle in their bilingual blog Verdelicias. The dynamic duo finds inspiration
in real food traditions from other cultures, their Caribbean upbringing and their many visits to
farmer’s markets, specialty stores and farm stands around the city of Chicago. Born in San Juan,
Puerto Rico, Maria is a creative advertising writer and content strategist with a passion for food
styling. Nabol is a mechanical engineer and self-taught cook born in Seoul, South Korea and raised in Añasco, Puerto Rico.
