I am a law school graduate from UNC Chapel Hill who decided in my last year of law school to begin cooking. That decision quickly turned into a passion/obsession, as did my obsession with food blogging, food photography, cookbooks, and pretty much anything else that had to do with food! Now, I’m a family law and civil litigation attorney in Charlotte, North Carolina making delicious food in between cases! I love being back home in Charlotte after being away for almost 10 years! I left Charlotte to go off to college at Johns Hopkins University, studied abroad in Rome, then came back to North Carolina and went to law school at Carolina. After living and practicing law in Chapel Hill and Raleigh for nearly 3 years, I’m finally back home!
Order in the Kitchen is a food blog for the busy working person. Most of my recipes use simple ingredients and are quick and easy. I do have some special occasion dishes that require a bit more work but, in general, every recipe on my site can be completed by a novice cook who has other things to do than spend the whole day in the kitchen. At the end of each recipe, I have “The Verdict” where I tell you how it went, how you can modify it, and what other people said about the dish.
Established in 1937, the Idaho Potato Commission (IPC) is a state agency that is responsible for promoting and protecting the famous "Grown in Idaho®" seal, a federally registered trademark that assures consumers they are purchasing genuine, top-quality Idaho® potatoes. Idaho's ideal growing conditions, including rich, volcanic soil, climate and irrigation differentiate Idaho® potatoes from potatoes grown in other states.
