Laura Bashar is a former graphic designer and advertising account executive. In 2009, she started her food blog, Family Spice, to share her love of family and Persian food. Today, Laura regularly develops recipes for brands and companies and is the photographer and coauthor of the cookbook, Cooking Techniques and Recipes with Olive Oil. Combining fresh ingredients, contrasting flavors, exotic spices and multiple cooking techniques from all over the world continues to be Lauras passion today. A stay-at-home mother of three, Laura lives with her husband and kids in San Diego, spoiling them all with wholesome, delicious food.
Established in 1937, the Idaho Potato Commission (IPC) is a state agency that is responsible for promoting and protecting the famous "Grown in Idaho®" seal, a federally registered trademark that assures consumers they are purchasing genuine, top-quality Idaho® potatoes. Idaho's ideal growing conditions, including rich, volcanic soil, climate and irrigation differentiate Idaho® potatoes from potatoes grown in other states.
