How many generations?
My family has been farming in Idaho for 4 generations.
We are proud of... the sustainable farming methods we have improved on with each generation and the that we raise healthy food that feeds the world. There is no better satisfaction than walking into a field of our potatoes, digging up a potato plant and seeing the high quality potatoes that plant has produced.
My favorite way to eat a potato:
I love baked Russet Burbank potatoes with a little butter and salt, but a close second is skin on French fries.
Established in 1937, the Idaho Potato Commission (IPC) is a state agency that is responsible for promoting and protecting the famous "Grown in Idaho®" seal, a federally registered trademark that assures consumers they are purchasing genuine, top-quality Idaho® potatoes. Idaho's ideal growing conditions, including rich, volcanic soil, climate and irrigation differentiate Idaho® potatoes from potatoes grown in other states.
