Air Force Sergeant with Roots in Idaho Tattoos "Grown in Idaho" Seal on Arm

Idaho Potato Commission Launches First Video Contest on YouTube

The IPC is reaching out to spud lovers across the country, asking them to work their magic in front of the camera with America's favorite vegetable: the Idaho Potato. They want to see what people are doing with their Idaho spuds -- whether it's making fabulous meals, using potatoes to help get broken light bulbs out of sockets or even using an Idaho Potato as the "star" of a movie -- and have launched a video contest on YouTube.com.

Idaho Potato Commission Receives Congressional Honors in Recognition of 70th Anniversary

Eagle, Idaho, May 15, 2007 -- Idaho's Congressional Delegation has introduced two resolutions to the U.S. Congress designating May 2007 as "Idaho Potato Month" and recognizing the 70th Anniversary of the Idaho Potato Commission (IPC). The delegation consists of Senator Larry E. Craig, Senator Mike Crapo, Congressman Bill Sali and Congressman Mike Simpson.

Idaho Potato Commission Opening Doors to Cuba

The Idaho Potato Commission (IPC) was recently part of a delegation of 35 Idahoans, including Governor C.L. 'Butch' Otter, who traveled to Cuba to meet with government officials to discuss trade opportunities between Cuba and Idaho. The Commission focused primarily on ways to sell fresh and/or processed Idaho Potatoes into Cuba as potatoes are an important staple in the Cuban diet.

Two American Classics In New Product Line: Idaho® Potatoes & Betty Crocker®
